While studying finance at FIU, Josh continued in his father, Abe’s, and grandfather, Ruby’s, footsteps learning the wholesale salvage footwear and apparel export business from the ground up working before and after class. Josh began his full-time career at Bay Rag in 1991 and has been the catalyst for its international growth. Carrying on the family philosophy of honesty and integrity while speaking three languages (English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole), allows Josh to travel abroad fostering strong relationships with his partners, most of whom he calls his good friends.
